Colorado Ballet

Founded over 30 years ago by one of the nation’s leading ballet companies, the Academy of Colorado Ballet continues to thrive as the only true professional ballet training ground in Colorado. Utilizing the famed Vaganova method of ballet training, the Academy has honed the dance skills of thousands of children, as well as spawned the careers of many professional dancers. Academy students are given opportunities no other school can offer, including exceptionally qualified instruction, opportunities to perform with the professional Company for an excited audience and regular exposure to Company dancers and a professional environment.

Every year for the past 25 years, Academy students have placed in the top three of major ballet competitions, including the Denver Ballet Guild Scholarship Competition and the Youth America Grand Prix. The Academy's performing and competing companies continue to impress with top honors at a regional and national level.

The Academy offers two locations for convenience. The Central Academy is located in Downtown Denver and the South Academy located in Centennial. The same excellence in professional training in every area of dance from ages 3 and up, including an exciting adult program, is offered at both locations!
